Sarah Mpare is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years clinical care management; including extensive experience in both the primary care setting and in the specialty of otolaryngology. She is well versed in all areas of ENT, including in office procedure and imaging modalities. Some of the office procedures include laryngoscopy, myringotomy, and binocular microscopy removal of cerumen impaction.
I enjoy people and the ongoing relationship, discovery and diversity of primary care. The process of developing relationships and moving toward health with the patients goals in mind is where I believe the work takes place.
I grew up in the Inland Northwest and started working in the medical field as a junior volunteer with aspiration of following my mother into the medical field. As a registered nurse, I began working with cardiac patients. As a nurse practitioner, I have worked in urban native health, primary care and then moved on to specialize in otolaryngology.
In the Community
I am a member of the Lake Washington PTSA and parent volunteer specifically with the Art Docent program; bringing art and history to elementary students through hands on artistic opportunities. I am also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
